Mandatory local facility inspection by EDE
Payment of applicable fees and submission of company documents

Licensed and regulated by the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), a Marketing (Scientific) Office provides international pharmaceutical manufacturers with an authorised scientific and regulatory presence in the UAE, enabling them to represent their products and fulfil key post-authorisation responsibilities without establishing local manufacturing operations.

Its responsibilities extend across the complete product lifecycle, including:

 Regulatory Affairs & Product Registration

Managing communication with regulatory authorities, preparing and submitting marketing authorisation applications, coordinating product registration activities, and supporting lifecycle management requirements such as variations, renewals and regulatory updates.
